1915 Star on replacement ribbon named to 704 Pte A Bone 3 Bn AIF

Arthur was born c1886 at West Ham London, an electrical Wireman by occupation.

He enlisted in d company 3rd Battalion A IF in Sydney, New South Wales on 3rd September 1914

He travelled to Europe via Alexandria, Egypt.

His service record makes colourful reading,

Being absent without leave for several days/92 days in hospital with vd/nervous debility and influenza.

In December 1917 he was detached for service with 177th Tunnelling Company whist in France.

A nice medal to a desirable unit worthy of more research.
