A 1915 Star Trio on original ribbons named to 2630 Pte B brand R Scots

David was born c 1895 and he lived at 8 Bondly Place, Edinburgh. A moulders labourer by occupation, he enlisted on 7th October 1914 into the 5th Battalion Royal Scots, he went overseas to join the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force 21st March 1915 and was wounded. (gun shot wound right hand) on 9th of May 1915. He returned home 8th June 1915 he joined the 295 Reserve Company Labour Corps under number 271562 and was sent to France 17th October 1917. He was attached to the 13th Field Ambulance and was discharged sick on 17th April 1919 his pension record states GSW r hand 20% disablement
