A very nice condition IGS 1895  on original ribbon with clasps. Punjab Frontier 1897-98 & Tirah 1897-98.

Named to 3928 Pte H Hutchinson 2nd Bn Ryl Suss Regt

Born c1874 Hastings. He enlisted feb 1892 at Chichester.

In 1893 Henry was sentenced to 14 days imprisonment by the civil powers for assaulting a Police Constable.

After rejoining his unit he was sent to India and served there for 10 years 64 days including taking part in the 2 campaigns he was awarded clasps for


Upon return he was discharged 3 days later on 1st February 1904 his 12 years service completed

His next of kin was mother Mrs Mary Ann Hutchinson, 32 Wellington Road, Hollington, Hastings.
