Walter Thomas Young was born c1896 (1885 on some records )

He was a painter by occupation living at 46 Cuba Row Swansea Wales

He served with the 23rd Battalion Welsh Regiment Pioneers

Then as 53373 11th Battalion Cheshire Regiment

And 318275 3rd Battalion Tank Corps

He spent between 19th Jan and 26th March 1917 in Cardiff Hospital with malaria and gastritis. The 23rd served in Salonica which would fit

He was wounded gunshot arm 10th April 1918

He was discharged in 1919 30% disablement DAH and malaria

Nice to find a Tank Corps chap with full papers
