Born 4 Stow Place, Alexander, son of Thomas (threadmill worker) & Janet Hutchison Crawford, resident of 5 Clavering Street, Paisley. Member of the High U.F. Church. Formerly employed as craneman with Messrs Bow, McLachlan & Co. Re-enlisted at Glasgow. Served 6 years with the R.I.F.
Died of wounds 18th October 1914 aged 24 ~ Commemorated Ploegsteert Memorial, Hainaut, Belgium.
