Memorial plaque named to Josiah Hall who served 5875 lance corporal 1st Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment killed in action KIA 1st November 1914 an early casualty (sadly the CWGC has him incorrectly identified as Joshua hall) he was born New Leake Lincolnshire and lived Pudsey Leeds part of British Expeditionary Force
Trio swing mounted as worn on original ribbons to 1195 Dvr A Hall RFA inc shoulder title and ra bracelet made from buttons (clasp needs attention) Arthur apparently had 4 years previous service in 3rd London Royal Fusiliers spent time in hospital with septic finger 220 Brigade RFA under number 800567 lived 17 Priory Lane Louth Lincs
The 1891 census shows Josiah aged 8 and Arthur aged 3 living with their father George and mother Eliza
Also available seperatly is a trio consisting of 39 star Italy Star (mounted in polish style apparently and defence medal all unnamed supposed to have belonged to Arthur’s Son In Law who was polish and married his daughter) as there is nothing to prove the connection I’ve listed them separately more research could add provenance comes with quantity of printed paperwork of census etc
