Frederick served with the 3rd , 8th & 9th battalions Suffolk Regiment.

Enlisted 1st September 1914 .

1st July 1915 sentenced via courtmartial to 1 years hard labour remitted to 9 months . Guilty of section 40 of the 1881 army act .

Wounded on 3rd January 1916 .

He was admitted to cliff military hospital on 1st June 1916 and sent for discharge as mental deficiency.  ( possibly due to the wounds he recieved) .

Finally discharged with a silver war badge on 14th February 1917 .

His address are given as 73 eustace Street  , Ipswich.

And 12 garscadden Street,  Glasgow.
