He joined the Northumberland hussars in December 1935  that were converted to the 102 Light anti aircraft & anti tank regiment Royal Artillery 1st March 1940 .

He served with his unit that was attached to 1st armoured brigade under command of 6th Australian division .

He was captured at Crete on 2nd June 1941 .

He was pow number 5035 at stalag xv111a wolfsberg .


A nice group worthy of more research.
