Douglas was born in 1890 in Aberdeen
Douglas served from 6/12/1915 until 27/3/1917 and served on the Somme where he was wounded and gassed. He also served as a part of the anti aircraft section. He was discharged through sickness. We find a report from 1938 showing him being presented with a medal from the British Red Cross Society, the photo includes a picture of Douglas (possibly wearing his SWB) Douglas died in 1939 in Banchory Aberdeenshire.
