Frederick Wilmore (Wilmer) was born to Willaim and Louisa in 1894. William was a horsekeeper and we find the family in 1911 living at The Stables, Market St, Dover. William enlisted in 1915 into the 3/3rd Home Counties Brigade RA. His papers survive and suggest he saw service with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force. We know he served with the 1064th Battery with the 220nd Brigade and he landed in Bombay in October 1917. His MIC confirms the award of just the pair and the IGSM and clasp which was issued to him in 1926.

Frederick was survived by his wife, Elizabeth Annie, in 1964 when he died. At that time, he was living at 47 Lowther Road, Dover.

All with original silk ribbons including a capbadge and shoulder title.
