A BWM and Special Constabulary Medal on short original ribbon named to 30006 Pte GE Ruffles Bedf R.     George E Ruffles on Faithful Service Medal

George was born 15th September 1878 he lived at Wayland Norfolk

He enlisted on 2nd June 1916 into the Bedfordshire Regiment  and later served under 308112 & WR41554 in Road Troops Department of Royal Engineers. He was discharged 18th June 1918 due to sickness aged 36 years

1939 Register still living in Wayland Norfolk working as a roadman for Norfolk County Council. He is living with his wife Alice Mary who he married in 1906
