WW1 British War Medal on replacement ribbon named to 76898 Gnr JT Pincham RA

Born 13th March 1894 Earlsfield Surrey, John was a milkman by occupation

He joined up 5th March 1914 and served with several different units in RA including 34th Anti Aircraft Company Royal Garrison Artillery

He served in France also under number 223849 and is shown to have been wounded in right hip by a gunshot he was discharged 11 November 1918. Two Addresses around this time that are given are 157 Blackshaw Road Tooting SW & 12 Groton Road Earlsfield

In 1939. he is a labourer still at 157 Blackshaw Rd but listed as Wandsworth

(He is also entitled to a 1914 Star with clasps and roses and a Victory Medal and SWB)
