Laurence heber warneford iredale was born at Huddersfield in Yorkshire in 1888.

He lived most of his life in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire.

A member of Durham University officer training corp .

He entered France in 1914 and was an officer in ramc attached to the 2nd Battalion Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.

He was awarded a military cross for distinguished Service in the field in the June 1917 Kings honours list .

Post war he worked at the Victoria hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne.

He died aged c36 years old whist living at waterloo Rd, blyth , Northumberland.
