Arthur Edgar Simmons was born 20th November 1890 at Gorleston on sea , Norfolk.

1911 and 1916 he was working in his father’s newsagents at 57 bells Road, Gorleston on sea , gt yarmouth , Norfolk.

Initially served as 302641 rfm 5th London regiment.

Commisioned temp sub lieut with observers duties 28th February 1917 terminated 20th June 1917 .

Served rest of the war as a ordinary seaman .

1939 living at the constitutional Holiday camp , lothingland , Suffolk a company director, he died there on the 10th March 1950 .
