A pair on long original tatty ribbons named to 30305 Pte J Stevenson North’d Yeo

John was a groom by occupation born c1898

He inially joined the 10th Hussars on 1st April 1916 but ended up in the 2/1st Northumberland Yeomanry

He served

home 31st June 1916 to 5th May 1917

BEF France 6 may 1917 to 10th July 1917

Home 11 July 1917 to 15th October 1917 with the 5th Reserve Cavalry

He was discharged 15th October no longer fit to serve due to shrapnel wounds left arm the dates he left France would tie in with wounds received early 3rd Battle of Ypres  (more research needed to confirm)

He is listed at the Wharf Blayby Leicestershire & Haughton On The Hill Leicestershire
