Correctly named pair to 239666 Dvr W H Hammond RA

William Harold Hammond was born approx 1880 to Charles and Elizabeth Hammond from Kingston on Thames.

He served with the 353rd Battery in the 36th Brigade and served from June 1916 until October 1918 and discharged due to sickness. He was awarded the Silver War Badge numbered B32383 (not inc)

He died on 14/3/1919 leaving his widow Willie Naomi in The Creek, Poole. He is buried at Longfleet (St Mary’s) Churchyard in Dorset.

Medals are his full entitlement and come with original silk ribbons plus the SWB slip. Please note there is a cigarette burn on the paper slip.
