Correctly named pair to 57964 Pte F Cook W York R

Frederick was born in Redhouse in Doncaster in 1899, his father was a gamekeeper. He served with the 2nd Battalion C Company and was captured at Berry Au Bac, north of Reims. He was at Westfront Camp.  He gives his address as 21 Kelham St Doncaster. He was repatriated 25/11/1918 and discharged on re-enlistment.

Mounted for wear on pi with original ribbons which have discoloured.
