William was born c 1898, milk carrier by occupation

He attested 12th October 1916 and joined Army Reserve. He was mobilised on 3rd March 1917 then passed back to B Reserve 5th March 1917. He was then called up 26th March 1918 and posted to 9th Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment in October 1918. He transferred to the 297th POW Company Labour Corps and served under 650177 until his Class Z. On 26th Feb 1919, he suffered from flu

He died in 1969
