John Reuben Curry was the older brother born in 1893. We find a wound report for him dated 4/12/1917 but no further info about it.
He also served as WR 263871 in the Railway Section, Royal Engineers as well as the Remounts of the Army Service Corps as R/277636. He was a drapery warehouse man prior to enlisting.
Arthur was born in 1896 and we know he was working as a butcher before enlisting.
They are both seen living with their parents John and Martha at 69 Tyne Road, Gateshead On Tyne.
