William Clarence Roberts was born at Constantine in Cornwall c1893.

1911 a stonemason living at trewardrena Mill ,Constantine, Penryn, Cornwall .

Joined the Royal Navy and served on board hms warspite 26th February 1917 until 14th May 1919 .

Hms warspite escorted the German highseas Fleet into internment at Scapa flow at the end of ww1 .

He was living at brillwater , south view , kerrier, Cornwall in 1939 a partner in a firm of monumental Masons .

He died in Falmouth Cornwall in March 1962 .
