Correctly named to 203108 Pte J Connolly A & S H

Entitled to a pair, John was born and lived in Govan 1892. Papers show an address, 80 Elder St Govan.

Prior to enlisting into the 5th (reserve) Battalion, he was a spirits salesman. He enlisted June 1917. It looks like he first went overseas to Salonica with the 12th Battalion and along the way, according to his papers, found himself with the Army Of The Black Sea. He was discharged in November 1921.

Comes on a nice long length of original silk ribbon.
