Edgar George was born in 1874 and hailed from Oulton Broad. He was working as a munitions workers in 1915 when he enlisted into the RE. He applied and was accepted to serve with the 309th Road Construction Company. He also had the service number WR21749. On his attestation, he gives the address of Yew Cottage, Oulton Broad and gives the address of 108 St Peter St, Lowestoft upon his discharge. He is entitled to a pair.
