Correctly named to 3869 Pte T Q Lamplough West Yorks. Thomas Quarton Lamplough also served as 143686 in the Machine Gun Corps.

He served from January 1915 until April 1919 and was entitled to Silver War Badge number 516832. He was entitled to a pair although the BWM is sadly missing.25

He was born in 1888 in Driffield Yorkshire, he was invalided out of service due to deformed feet, probably due to trench foot. We see him in 1939 working as an invalided tailor, married to Agnes and living in Bradford
