A bricklayer by occupation living at wyddial Road, Buntingford, Herts both in 1911 and 1921 .

He served in East Surrey Regiment and later as 65483 in 26th Bankers battalion, Royal fusiliers being wounded with them 13th September 1917 at 3rd Ypres and again noted as wounded 23rd November 1918 obviously wounded prior to the 11th November and recorded later ?.
