WW2 military MBE and France and Germany North West Europe award, Arthur John Bryant. Royal Artillery

Availability: 1 in stock

A nice original award certificate mounted on card to Captain Arthur John Bryant RA

According to his recommendation he served in 1oth Survey Regiment of Royal Artillery in 8th corps. He was in charge of a sound ranging troop from July 1944 covering 14 miles of front so went over a month after DDay landings. See digital copy of the recommendation in pictures¬† the WW2 medals are swing mounted the MBE is on a loose piece of ribbon, probably the MBE has been framed with the certificate at some point which would explain why it’s not mounted with the other medals and has no clasp to wear it

It seems he may have served in Home Guard prior to service in Royal Artillery more research needed
