WW2 ‘Passierschein’ Leaflet. Offers safe passage to surrendering German Forces.

Availability: 1 in stock

By the time the United States entered WW2 in December 1941, the British, French and Russian Forces had already been air dropping ‘surrender’ leaflet on the German Forces. This leaflet was devised by both British and US forces and designed to look authoritative and almost like a school diploma. It carried both countries official seal and the signature of the Supreme Commander, Dwight Eisenhower.

This was considered the most effective of all leaflets dropped in WW2.

No rips in the leaflet although there is severe foxing to the back side and tinges of age showing on the front. Please see pics.
