Correctly named pair to BZ 9612 TG Hopwood Tel RNVR

Thomas Gordon Hopwood was born in Handsworth, Staffs in 1898 to Edward and Harriet.

In 1901, we find him living at 78 Hall Road, Handsworth.

In 1911 he is seen to be living at 27 Babington Road, Streatham. He was working as a clerk.

He enlisted in May 1916 and his address is given now as 18 Harbourne Road, Birmingham.

He was discharged due to anxiety in March 1919.

He married Violet Ida Allday in October 1924.

In 1939, he is working as a commercial food agent ad living at 15 Redacre Road, Royal Sutton Coldfield.

He died in 1981 in Lichfield.

The BWM is on modern ribbon and the Victory on original silk ribbon. Also included is the transmittal box (seen better days) and a ribbon clasp.
