Correctly named 41768 Pte AE Green Camb R

Arthur Ernest Green was born in 1899 in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

In 1911, we find him living at Brookfield Lane, Cheshunt and is still at school.

He also served with the Suffolk Regiment with the service numbers 70025 & 5820152.

He enlisted into the 1st Bn Cambridge Regiment and served overseas. We find a wound report for him dated 12/9/1918.

He is entitled to a Pair.

His brother Albert John Green served with the Royal Fusiliers and was killed in action in France 1914.

We find him in 1939 living at 22 Dewhurst Road, Cheshunt. He is listed as a glazier by trade but now incapacitated.
