Correctly named 128239 Cpl TJ Lovelace RA
Thomas Joseph Lovelace was born to Joseph and Clara in 1894.
In 1911, we find the family living at 65 Downend Road in Kingswood, Bristol. Thomas at this time is working as a wood sawer.
He enlisted in 1915 and went overseas to France in 1916. It is noted he was qualified as a skilled wheeler.
In 1921 he married Doris May Hook.
We find them in 1939 now living at 42 Downend Road. Thomas is working as a coal roundsman/lorry driver/heavy worker.
Thomas died in 1976.
