He is noted as serving on rms asturias 5th August 1914 to 10th June 1915 ( and possibly beyond ) .

Rms asturias was converted on outbreak of the war to le havre then galipolli as hospital ship .

1921 same address as 1911 a ships steward working at London and South West railway company.

1939 living at Andover, Hampshire a publican .
