The London Gazette his him promoted to Squadron Leader in December 1943 and Acting Wing Commander in January 1945.
Also in January 1945, in the New Year Honours, his is awarded his Mention in Dispatches.
He was awarded his CBE in 1964 as Air Commodore, LG 1/1/1964. Command Education Training Officer, Technical Training Command, Forfar.
He held a seat at South Cambridgeshire and Chesterton Rural Council.
He married Mary D Crichton in 1972.
He died in 1972 and is buried in Carlton Cum Willingham, Cambridge. His address is noted as Hill View Cottage, Carlton.
A nice grouping that is well worthy of further research.
