William Ernest Hammond was born in 1911 in Newark to Arthur and Emma.
In 1939, we find the family living at 145 Main Street, Balderton. William is seen to be working as an engineers rate fixer. William died in 1992.
The lot comes together with its transmittal box and slip and all the medals have their original silk ribbons.
