BWM on replacement ribbon named to Asst Payr PO Stanton RNR
Born New York USA on 22nd September 1894
Percival Clement Owen Stanton was a purser by occupation.
He is noted on the 1914 and 1915 navy lists as being Assistant Paymaster on RMS Empress of Britain and was probably on board during her 2 collisions whist a troopship taking men to Gallipoli.
In 1939 he was living in Birkenhead a building society branch manager.
