Correctly named 19255 Pte T Lord L N Lancs

Thomas served with the 6th Battalion and earned a 1915 Star Trio when he went overseas to the Balkan theatre in late October 1915.

After his landing on the 24th, he would have joined the rest of the reserve Battalion at Green Hill. They moved to Chocolate Hill on the 14th of November and straight into action with 4 casualties that day.

He would then have been at Suvla Bay on the 1st of December to start with the evacuations to Egypt, where he would have landed at Alexandria on the 22nd of January 1916. The Battalion was later sent to defend the Suez Canal.

Complete with a long length of original silk ribbon.
