Records show him to have been killed accidentally in the field.
He was married to Elizabeth who we see after the war has ben remarried to William Tuckley. Her address is given as 36 Sheriff Street, Liverpool though army records state number 56.
He is buried at Albert Communal Cemetery Extension.
He is entitled to a Pair.
The medal has a modern replacement ribbon.
