Douglas Ronald mcdougall was born 1907 at maldon in Surrey.

1937 awarded the king gvi coronation medal whist serving on his majesty’s yacht Victoria and Albert.

Commisioned temporary sub lieutenant 11th December 1941 .

He died whist living at great Bookham in Surrey 28th December 1987 and his death notice appeared in daily telegraph new years eve 1987 .
