Territorial force efficiency medal looks unworn with capbadge and  tatty transmittal box and award slip named 326451 c s mjr g r Anderson 8/ Essex r.

Awarded In 1919 it seems to be his sole entitlement.

Frederick was born c1889 in Dundee,  Scotland.

1901 at school living at18 Maria St Kirkcaldy his father John a police inspector on the railways .

1911 living in London serving as a shoesmith with b battery royal horse artillery.

He entered France 5th October 1914 .

Married Ethel letitia pate In 1916 .

He was killed in action on 30th March 1918 ( his award of the meritorious service medal being printed in lg in June of that year for valuable services In France).

It comes its a letter and envelope dated 1930 which seems to have been sent via a relation of his widow after her death returning the medals to keep them in the Anderson family they having had no children themselves the address on envelope is faded but a Glasgow address .

Worthy of more research.
