Louis was born in London on 2nd July 1895 his father was Hungarian ( naturalised as British before marriage) .

He joined the Royal Artillery on 28th June 1915 as a Gunner number 1590 .

He was transferred into the Royal Engineers as sapper no 244712 .

And was commisioned on 22 June 1917 .

He was with x section 2nd field survey company re , 2nd army headquarters British expeditionary force.

He served in France from Jan 1916 .

On discharge his address was 30 clonmel Rd,  Fulham.

1939 a civil servant living at 3 cottham Park,Bristol  , Somerset.

He died in Bristol October 1974 .
