Joined royal Gloucestershire Hussars 28th November 1913 discharged unfit for service 6th February 1915 .

Joined royal garrison artillery later in war .

Served with bef in France then at rga base in Italy.

Discharged finally with 20% disablement aggravated by service ( rheumatism) .

He tried to apply for a tfwm due to his previous service in Hussars by as he saw no overseas service with them it seems this was refused .
