He attested into the Royal Engineers 18th November 1915 .

Harry landed in France with the t Corps sig coy 4th February 1917 .

A letter from his Commanding officer A captain in 8th hussars o/c tank Corps signal company confirms hes employed as a telephone switchboard operator in June 1917.
