Margaret Yates
joined the Voluntary Aid Detachment in January 1917, giving her address as Felsted School, Felsted, Essex. She was posted to the Felsted Work Depot, with her duties listed as ‘Making garments for Red X’. Yates left service in May 1919 but appears to have maintained her affiliation with the Red Cross; sold together with two Red Cross 204 Cheshire epaulettes.
