WWII group. Lieutenant Colonel Ronald F T Tyers. Scinde Horse, 14/20 Hussars & 7th Gurkha Rifles.

India general service medal with North West Frontier 1836-37 and North West Frontier 1937-39 named to 2 lt r f t tyers scinde horse. ( 2nd clasp wired on).

1939 star ,Africa Star, Italy Star, Defence and War Medals unnamed as issued.

Ronald Francis tyers tyers was born 11th November 1916 at Guildford in Surrey.

Served in Indian army initially as officer with scinde horse then in 14th / 20th hussars and finally in 7th Duke of Edinburghs own gurkha Rifles.

He died in Kenya in 1995 aged 78 .
