An interesting group of medals and ephemera relating to 14741691 l cpl David John middleton royal engineers .

1939 star / Burma Star/ defence medal & war medal unnamed as issued.

Record of service sheet confirming he served in re 6th May 1944 to 25th February 1947 a forester by occupation born 26th April 1912 .

His soldiers service book confirms entitlement to the 4 medals.

Also inc are references from 1930s to 1950s of his employment in Scotland inc .

Letter from lt of 4/5th black watch  dated 1936 stating he was the officers batman and served 6 years with the unit .
