Correctly named GS/46300 Cpl GG Starling R Fus

George Gordon Starling was born c1897/8 to George and Ellen in Harringay. His father George was a drapery buyer.

He enlisted into the 1st Bn Royal Fusiliers and served overseas with them and later in November 1918, transferred to the 23rd (1st Sportsmens Bn).

We found 2 wound reports for George. First dated 25/9/1918 and the second, 21/10/1918 so could possibly be the same incident?

No records show the nature of his wound or wounds.

His Silver War Badge is also present. Numbered B313207.
