Correctly named Lieut FT Pinder

Frederick Thomas Pinder was born in 1881 in Oakham, Rutland to Robert and Mary, one of their 14 children.

In 1891, we see Frederick in boarding school in Hertfordshire.

In 1911, he is working as a gas clerk for the Gas & Coke company. He is living with two of his sisters at Barnsdale, Kings Road, Walton on Thames.

His MIC tells us he served in Mesopotamia from March 1917 earning himself a Pair. His MIC also notes his address as the same as 1911.

In 1919, he married Bertha Euginie Rooke.

By 1939, we see Frederick has retired working for the gas company and is now living at Spurdle Berries, Walton on Thames. 

He is also an Air Raid Warden.

We see Frederick died in 1950.

The medal has an original silk ribbon.
