WWII Group of 2 to Officer Commanding Royal Army Service Corps, Rawlinson Barracks, Debury, Devon

A nice boxed group including a Defence and War Medals including an old RASC cap badge.

Transmittal box is posted to Officer Commanding, Depot Bn RASC, Rawlinson Barracks, Denbury, Devon.

Despite our efforts, we have not been able to find out who the Commanding Officer was.

In 1939 Denbury Camp (also known as Rawlinson Barracks) was built as a training camp. After the war it was taken over by the Royal Signals Junior Leaders, until 1969, and in 1970 it was taken over by the Prison Department.
