4 WWII medal unnamed as issued

KGVI TEM correctly named to 830147 S>SGT GH Elms REME

Awarded to George Harold Elms who attested for service in 1933. Records shows he served with Coastal Defence/Anti Aircraft and transferred to the Royal Army Ordnance Corps in November 1941. From the Medals we see that George saw service in North West Europe in WWII and awarded the France & Germany Star. He qualified for the award of the TEM in September 1945.

Upon research, we seem to find just one person named George Harold Elms, born in 1914 in Birmingham. In 1939, we find George living with his parents at 116 Aston Church Road, Birmingham. We believe George to have died in 1991.

The group comes with a matching set of miniature medals, both groups mounted on original silk ribbons with a clasp for wear.
