Harry was born to Henry and Ann in 1892 in Chirl, Denbighshire, North Wales.
In 1911, we find him working as a coal miner living at 3 Chirk Green, Denbighshire.
He was sent to France in November 1914 earning himself a 1914 Star Trio but alas the Star is missing from his group.
He served with the 4th (Denbighshire) Battalion.
We find a wound report for him dated 10th of May 1918.
He is mentioned in dispatches with the LG entry dated 21st of May 1918.
He was awarded his TFEM in 1920.
He was also awarded a Silver War Badge numbered B314381, not present.
He married Mary Jones in 1926 and we find them in 1939 living at 3 Chell Street in Manchester. Harry is working now as a brickyard labourer.
Harry died in 1954 and is buried at Southern Cemetery, Chorlton Cum Hardy in Manchester.
