A nice complete lot of medals and ephemera awarded to 2144201 Sapper James Henry Brown of the Royal Engineers.

James was employed as a postman when he enlisted in March 1941.

He was released from service in January 1946.

Included in the lot is his 39-45 Star, France & Germany Star, Defence and War medals along with a formation patch of the 21st Army Group. Also included are the medal transmittal boxes with a ribbon strip for battle dress. His Soldiers Release Book and pay books are also included with a few original photographs of his time in service.
