A nice group of medals and ephemera relating to 4535312 signals sergeant a Coleshill West Yorkshire Regiment (pwo).

A Coleshill was a prewar soldier he served in various battalions of West Yorkshire Regiment.

He served early part of ww2 in bengal India.

He was serving I North West Europe Post dday where he was noted as wounded with 7th battalion. ( see last digital only image for details ).

Comes with various original papers relating to his service as pictured in 1969 he was living at 39 Ipswich circus ,Sneinton Dale., Nottingham.

He seems among other things to have been involved in signals and operating cinema equipment.
